The Fall of Democracy

How much inequality can democracy sustain before people take matters into their own hands? As Aldous Huxley said, "The marble conceals a multitude of sins"; there is lot swept under the rug when we claim the rise of a resurgent India. Before we lay our claim on the world, there are 300 million poor to feed, there is corruption to mend and Thackreys to defeat. Is the Maoist insurgency a signal of things to come.
